Live & Local, General Admission

The Vaughns

w/ Commonwealth Choir & Someone In A Tree

Wednesday, September 11
Show | 7pm // Doors | 6:30pm
$19.50

We invite you to join us for an introduction to our vibrant local music scene! Look for Live & Locals on some Wednesday nights. These shows will start at 7 PM, usually feature three artists and be general admission for a more casual night out.

Someone In A Tree will open the show. They are a NY outfit who met as music students and also represent backgrounds in the Philly scene. Their self made recordings weave odd meters and fresh progressions into the alternative formula. Commonwealth Choir from Doylestown has been an indie rock staple of the Philly scene for years, landing themselves on various impressive bills. They re-entered the scene last winter with their first new release in two years. The closing band, The Vaughns, are a four piece indie pop rock band from Springfield Township, New Jersey. They play a blend of garage rock and blues and cite musical influence from the Beatles, Arctic Monkeys, Sublime and Nirvana. Since 2016, NJ.com has consecutively listed them as an NJ Band You Need To Hear, noting that their “dynamic and addictively fun” sound is too good to leave out.
