Coco Montoya & Tinsley Ellis
Check out this rockin’ blues double bill with two of our staple acts! This is your first chance to see them together! Coco Montoya encompasses all that we all love about blues guitar with his talented, explosive playing and his soul driven voice. He started his career over 30 years ago drumming for the legendary Albert Collins and went on to play guitar with John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers, like Eric Clapton, Peter Green and Mick Taylor before him. Tinsley Ellis performs with the energy and soul of the great southern musicians who have preceded him. Ellis attacks his music with rock power and blues feeling, following in the tradition of Duane Allman, Freddie King, Derek Trucks and Warren Haynes. Tinsley’s live shows, many of which we’ve had here, feature extended fretwork filled with experimentation.
